We will no longer be carrying the Ruched Clip Nursing Bra and we have marked it down 40%. But don’t worry, we still will have two other styles available along with the tanks! Here is a little info about the bra:

The Ruched Clip Nursing Bra offers a sexy ruching fashion detail in front (our fit model wears it with her t-shirts too!), and great separation for no underwire. Offering an easy, one-handed clasp, our Strap Keep™, adjustable straps, and a 4-stage hook-and-eye back closure for maximum comfort in pregnancy, and best fit when nursing. It has all the features of an excellent fitting bra, a firm band, soft underwire-like support and a pretty ballet back helps hold in. Crafted in the USA from cool and quick drying Imported Italian Nylon/Lycra® -drys fast. Fabric will not fade or pill. Great for pumping, the fit models pumped hands free! If it needs slight shrinking for your changes over time, occasional dryer is ok.

At the price of $33, these bras are going to fly out of here, so you had better hurry in! Here are the sizes we have left:

32, 34, 36 C/D

34, 36, 38, 40 E/F

If you like things to be soft, silky and ultra plush, you’re going to love our new Buchic line of bamboo products. We now have bamboo crib sheets, towels, swaddle blankets, and socks. If you’ve bought an organic mattress here, now you have the perfect sheets to go with it. The swaddling blankets just might be the best I’ve seen around. They are so soft! Any organization that does what Children’s Relief Nursery does deserves all the money they can get. That is why we are trying to get a jump on the holiday charitable giving by holding a sort of book drive at Queens Mab. For the month of November, we will have a selection of books for you to choose from and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Children’s Relief Nursery. You can also choose to donate a book directly to CRN. How often can you know that 100% of your donation will go directly to brightening a child’s day? This is the brainchild of a local North Portland mom who is a rep for a wonderful company called Barefoot Books. These books are all super cute and you’re sure to find one you like. If you buy a book in the store, 20% of the sale is donated to CRN. Because we are tight on space, we have a small selection of books in the store. If you want to see all that Barefoot books has to offer, you can click on the icon below. A 10% donation is made for all online sales.

Cooking With Your Kids October 27, 2008

Learning Tower

I don’t know how it is at your house, but at our house we can’t keep our kids out of the kitchen. I can’t pour a bowl of cereal without Bea wanting to help! Bea insists on stirring anything that’s cooking on the stove, helping her dad with the dishes (if playing with the bubbles is considered helping), and, of course, getting her own food out of the cupboards. Some of you may know, we currently use an upside down stock pot as her stool that helps her get up to counter height. The other day, as I watched my girls push each other off the pot in “king of the hill” style, I realized this was not going to work much longer! So I searched for something that could safely raise my girls to counter height and hold two kids (my girls are not interested in taking turns when it comes to something so exciting as cooking).

My search led me to The Learning Tower by Little Partners. This is, by far, the best kitchen stool for your kids. Not only is it easy for kids to get into and safe to lean on from all sides, but it comes in 9 different colors and is height adjustable. You might be thinking, “this sounds great, but my kids aren’t interested in helping out in the kitchen, but they’re still constantly under foot when I’m trying to get things done.” This is where The Learning Tower stands out from all other kitchen stools. You can attach the optional art easel and let your budding artist draw, or attach the optional playhouse kit and have your little thespian put on a puppet show while you get dinner ready. If you have rambunctious children like mine, they might just have fun climbing all over it!

If you can’t tell, I’m totally excited about this product and can’t wait to share it with you! Check out my products page or follow this link to The Learning Tower’s website.
