Any organization that does what Children’s Relief Nursery does deserves all the money they can get. That is why we are trying to get a jump on the holiday charitable giving by holding a sort of book drive at Queens Mab. For the month of November, we will have a selection of books for you to choose from and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Children’s Relief Nursery. You can also choose to donate a book directly to CRN. How often can you know that 100% of your donation will go directly to brightening a child’s day? This is the brainchild of a local North Portland mom who is a rep for a wonderful company called Barefoot Books. These books are all super cute and you’re sure to find one you like. If you buy a book in the store, 20% of the sale is donated to CRN. Because we are tight on space, we have a small selection of books in the store.
